DECEMBER 5

This little matchbox came all the way from Jan Smith in England. Another pretty box and this one had a Merry Christmas ribbon across the top and lace across the bottom plus decorated with a little gold horn. Inisde were a pair of angel earrings. Again not too dangly for me. They have a gold angel with a crystal above her and a crystal bell below her. I hope you can see them well from the picture. We have our garden club Christmas luncheon tomorrow so I will wear one of the two pairs depending on what I wear.

Well we are the talk of the street. Everyone has been walking or biking by to see the huge paw prints going right up the driveway and then who knows where. I just do not want to see one up close. See you tomorrow.

Hi Freda! WOW...that's really scary about the bear! When we were in Red River NM a few years ago, we were having dinner on the balcony of a restaurant & watched a mama bear & cubs stroll right down main street. Right down the middle of the road!

Your matchboxes are great! I've had so much fun w/ this swap but it's hard getting by to see alll of them, you know? I'llbe mailing you a package later in the week!
