CUFF

Sorry I have not blogged all week but have been under the weather. I think this terrible heat is making my fibromyalgia really act up. Yesterday it hit me in the butt and hurt when I walked and so I just sat and stitched all day. Today is better but still took it easy. We missed Kane County flea market yeasterday. Harv was going to drop me off there and head over to the Fox River, find a big tree and drop the fishing line in. He always takes a magazine along also. works well. With cell phones it is so easy to keep in touch.

I am posting 2 pics of a cuff that I embellished. Last year when Pat Winter had her 50th. birthday Terri Tekacs from Lavender Between The Sheets contacted a few of her friends and we each put together a breakfast or tea for her on that day. Imaginery of course as we are all over the country. Terri sent us each a few things she made and one was a coffee cup mug cuff with my initial F on it. Well I have no coffee cups or mugs that it would fit and I thought Terri had put so much work into it that I would turn it into an arm cuff. It turned out good. I haven't seen anyone wearing them around here but they are all over the web.

Well I think it looks much nicer on your arm than it would on a coffee cup!

What a nice way to use the 'F'! Your cuf looks so pretty.

Sorry that your fibro is acting up - hope it straightens up soon. As for the coffee sleeve/cuff - I think you had a great idea. I'd feel terrible if coffee got spilled on it!

I love your cuff! Who cares what everyone else is wearing -- it's beautiful!

Has the weather gotten cooler for you? It's been absolutely glorious for us here!

Hope you're feeling better these days. Love the idea of you at the flea and Harv at the fishing hole...xo Susan

I do hope you're feeling better Freda.
It's a beautiful cuff.
I agree with you, everyone is making such amazing cuffs, but no one seems to wear them.
It's the school ball season here and it would be the perfect addition to their ballgowns!
Take care,
Shane

It is far too nice to use on a cup anyway.
