SWAP PACKAGE ARRIVED

I had a pleasant surprise yesterday when the postman arrived. My swap package of Christmas pieces from the swap with Jillayne of A fine seam arrived. What a wonderful package she made of it. For each one of us she made a beautiful bag decorated with a flower and piece of jewellery to put our swap pieces into. the bag itself is a wonderful gift to keep and she also included a sweet little heart she made and a lovely card.

The 5 pieces inside are all very lovely and very different. they could be fabric, paper, whatever the artist wanted to make. I received a lovely selection and am thinking of how I will display them. When I made mine with the lace covered fabric and the Christmas angel I also made one for me to keep myself. Now if I could find where I put it I would be happy. I should never put anything away.

2 of the 5 were not signed so I cannot say thank you to them but the other 3 were so I will drop them a note of thanks. If you read my blog and one of the unsigned ones is yours, please leave a comment so I can thank you.

Between this and the matchbox swap I am getting into the Christmas mood early. I rarely make Christmas gifts these days so these swaps are fun.

Sounds (and looks)like a fun swap! I haven't started on my Christmas things and have to get busy. Maybe you will inspire me.

I love the one at the bottom... Can there EVER be too much lace?

Freda, you got one of mine! Yay! 'Cause I have one of yours! I love it! I hope I signed the back of mine...It's the "Snow" square with the ice skaters.
Wasn't this swap just the most fun!!
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,

Hello Freda,
I'm sorry I'm a bit late in getting over here to say thank you for the beautiful swap square. I love all the sequin snowflakes on it. I'll be posting about the squares I received on my blog next week.
The squares you received are all wonderful!

I'm so glad you like your parcel of goodies! The squares you received are: Snow from Diane (as you know by her comment), girl with the muff by Dorthe, the bird is by Nook Cranny Gifts, the poinsettia with the "opening door" to reveal the tatted snowflake is by Susan of Suztats and the painted snowman snow globe is by Marcia of The Painted Gift. Your squares were equally as wonderful and you were smart to make an extra for yourself! Thanks again Freda, for participating!
